Redesign Hiram Reimagined

In an endeavor to honor his father's memory, my client took on the challenge of revamping his father's 14k yellow gold wedding band to achieve proportionality for his larger hands. Recognizing that men typically wear minimal jewelry, the sentimental value of the ring inspired a thoughtful redesign. The solution proposed involved adding 14k white gold rims on either side of the yellow gold band to create a more substantial profile.

This innovative approach not only catered to the practical concern of sizing but also embraced the understated elegance that resonates with men's minimalistic approach to jewelry. Extending the engraved star pattern from the band through the added white gold rims maintained a sense of continuity, weaving the past with the present. The contrasting rims not only framed the band beautifully but also introduced a touch of masculinity, addressing the client's desire for a more proportionate and impactful look. This transformation not only paid homage to family heritage but also considered the nuances of men's jewelry preferences, resulting in a timeless piece that seamlessly blended sentimentality with modern aesthetics.
