Redesign Ginny Hourglass Earrings

On a trip to Hawaii, my client fell in love with 2 pairs of drop shaped circle grey/green Tahitian pearls. Unsure of what to do with these 4 pearls, and wanting something that would standout from the ordinary, they remained tucked away for years in her jewelry box.

Drawing from the client's preference for minimalism and geometric aesthetics, as well as her admiration for the art deco period, I set out to design earrings would embody a subtle yet impactful sophistication. The design cleverly incorporates two pearls in each earring, forming an hourglass shape that resonates with both symmetry and grace. Elegantly curved lines mirror the organic shapes of the pearls, in a design that seamlessly combines effortless style with standout elegance.

Crafted in 14k white gold, the earrings boast a linear quality that not only frames the pearls but also adds a contemporary touch to the overall design. The result is a pair of earrings that exudes lightness and airiness, allowing the inherent beauty and luster of the Tahitian pearls to take center stage. This thoughtful creation captures the essence of the client's memories from Hawaii while seamlessly integrating her minimalist taste and appreciation for geometric design influences from the art deco era.
